Perspective Box Drawing

For this task we were asked to practice drawing perspective by drawing anything related to a cube, i decided to draw my bamboo type box, my phone and a dvd storage system i did at home, my phone and my pencil sharpener. from this session i wanted to achieve a decent level of skill in perspective and expand on the knowledge i already possessed. the main think i want to do is to be able to draw them accurately and fast, as at this present time i take a while to draw things in perspective. drawing them fast will help me draw the most important lines and stop drawing every strenuous little detail.

Drawing perspective is something that i personally wanted to improve on as perspective is the base for any good background. i started off by drawing the box (top left). I wanted to start off with a fairly simple drawing and slowly escalate to the more difficult ones. Because this box had simple, smooth, straight edges and was at a relatively easy angle i figured it would be a great place to start.

i feel the drawings i made were quite successful, after drawing all of these box and square shaped objects i realised that perspective is not one of my strong points. I still have a lot of work to do mainly with objects with rounded corners, i feel these objects were the most difficult ones to draw for me personally. expanding on this and drawing more perspective objects that have rounded corners and sides is a good way of improving.
